Keith Barrett - Instructor

Developing an interest in Karate while in university, Keith
Barrett began his training in 2000 with Ervin Tong. Karate
soon became one of his passions and he dedicated most of his
free time to it. Keith soon began to assist with teaching
classes and was renown for his friendly manner. Keith received
his shodan with the All Japan
Karatedo Federation Renbukai in 2003.

Work took Keith to
Japan in 2004, and there he began his study of Judo. After
rigorous daily training, he was rewarded by being promoted to
Shodan.
|

Keith has
consistently placed in the top three at numerous tournaments,
including a highlight 1st place finish in the 8th Annual
Canadian Ging Wu International Open Martial Arts Championships.
He continues to be a force in both the karate and judo
competitive arenas, and works to ensure that all students
share his success.
